Bible Trivia: Why do we have to put salt on a fish to eat it, when it has lived in salt water all its life?

Answer: It is “in” the salt water but not “of” the salt water. You can be in the world, but not of the world (John 15:29; 17:14-16). You are different when you are in Christ. We reach out to others, but we are not to be trapped into a selfish sinful world. Be a shining light and salt wherever you go. Live a life pleasing to God. Remember: this is not our home, we are just passing through to get home. So, make a difference while you are passing through…you can do it!
