Answer: Saul, later renamed Paul, is persecuting the church and in Acts 9:14, a bright light blinds him and a voice says, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” He did not say, “why are you persecuting My church, but Me.” How wonderful that we have a personal God, who understands what we are going through down here. He cares, He blesses, and He is the good shepherd. He wants you to talk to Him all during the day, not just on Sunday and not just for emergencies. Come on now, you can talk, can’t you! He is listening.
