Answer: Or did your landlord or mortgage company send you a letter saying this month’s rent is zero and your house is now free and clear? These are small debts compared to what we owe to God and to others we have sinned against. Yet, this is what Jesus did for us and how important the “Cross” is. Our debt to God was nailed to the cross and paid for by the shed blood of Jesus. Colossians 2:14 says you are now debt free. Jesus paid the debt for you. It’s a free gift. Very costly for God but free for you. But to get it you must receive it and accept it. You may not understand it all now and that’s ok, but little by little your faith will grow. You can do it!
