Answer: 1. Jesus wanted to demonstrate to His followers that He was truly alive and to leave no doubt. 2. Jesus wanted to explain the Old Testament Scriptures and how He fulfilled them and how they talked about Him from the beginning. 3. To train and prepare His disciples for the task ahead of telling the world about the risen Christ Jesus. I am sure they were disappointed when He left, but He promised to send the Holy Spirit and He also said He is coming back. So they got busy and so should we.
