Answer: It’s not lust or pride, or fear or discouragement, but it is so insidious, we don’t even realize it is keeping us from a deeper walk with God. It is envy. When you envy other people, you are so fixated on what you don’t have and what you are not that you miss out on God’s plan for you and your uniqueness. Psalm 139:13-16 says God watched you being formed in your mother’s womb and it is marvelous.. You are special and gifted. God wants you to be you and no body else.
